Bangalakshmi Bazar is a well-known local market where you can find fresh fish, meat, chicken, and a wide variety of vegetables at market prices. A narrow cement lane runs through the main market--small vehicles can enter but not park here, although most people park their bikes and cycles along this lane. Outside the main market, there are several grocery shops and two to three sweet shops. In the mornings, both sides of the main road get crowded with temporary vegetable and fish stalls, making the area quite busy and congested. Cleanliness is moderate - not too bad, but could be improved. In the evening, fewer shops remain open, so the best time to visit is in the morning. Overall, it's a good local market for daily essentials if you're nearby.
